The blog name is a quote from Zola’s Nana, inspiring in its total relevancy to all the associations that accompany women and sexuality: anxieties, degeneracy, illness, morality or lack thereof, while alluding to the deconstruction of the perfect and essential feminine.
Through a lens of academic articles, and a sprinkling of related popular culture references I will discuss and eagerly over-think these issues and more.
